Cornish Head, Waikouaiti

Surveys of Matanaka Cave undertaken during 2012 confirmed it as the world's longest sea cave.

Based on survey work by Nicholas Barth, Matanaka Cave, located on the Otago coast of New Zealand's South Island, has been found to be an amazing 1.54 kilometers (5,051 feet) long.

Otago's first farm which was established by Johnny Jones around 1840. Remaining buildings include the much photographed stable and other historic farm buildings and implements.
